Safran (Safran Electrical & Power) supplies the full electrical wiring system for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and handles the full production, engineering and program management chain. Safran Electrical & Power fits almost 3,500 connectors interlinking 104 km of wiring on each aircraft, along with the electrical panels, junction boxes and landing gear conduits.

Safran (Safran Landing Systems) equips the Boeing 787 Dreamliner’s main landing gear with carbon brakes and EBACs (Electrical Brake Actuation Controllers), a remarkable technological breakthrough. It also supplies the long-haul jetliner’s main and nose landing gear wheels.

The filters on the twin GEnx-1B engines powering the Boeing 787 Dreamliner were purpose-engineered and are manufactured by Safran (Safran Filtration Systems).
