Safran (Safran Nacelles) supplies the nacelles on the Superjet 100’s two SaM146 engines. Manufactured using composite materials, they help to reduce the noise footprint of the aircraft propulsion system. The nacelle specialist also supplies the mixed-flow exhaust nozzle.
